Social Impacts of video conferencing.

The social impacts of a video conferencing are:
You are not being as personal with the other party in the conference as you would in a face to face meeting, this is not a plus point but it creates plus points to VC, I find that a plus point that comes from this is that you dont use expensive and time consuming long distance travel. a linkup between two VC stations costs hundrends of pounds less and it takes a few minutes to establish a connection between the stations where as travelling would cost lots and take a few hours depending on where in the world you are.

Another social impact is that it is very easy to talk to deaf people over these connections, because you can use sign language to communicate with them. A good thing about the video conferencing equipment is that yiou can buy cheap simple to use hardware or for potentialy big businesses you can buy very expensive hardware that takes up a whole room and lots of very technical pieces of equipment to run.
